Prompt number 3. Moment. Pick one moment during which you felt most alive this year. Describe it in vivid detail (texture, smells, voices, noises, colors)
Over this summer I got to go to Applegate Church, which is in Jacksonville, Oregon. They have this amazing outdoor amphitheater where you sit on the grass and when you sing praise and worship, you can look up at the sky and sing right to God. It was awesome. At that time I was still attending my old church, and hadn't really felt at home there in a long while. I'm learning to be open and accepting of this intense passion I have for tattoos and people being free to express themselves, and that greatly has tied into what church I go to and this experience at Applegate.

This is exciting to me. SOMETIMES. other times like today when someone made me wait 5 minutes (YES 5 minutes, I watched my phone) outside in 37 degrees weather, I'm less then thrilled. but moving on, at least I had beautiful things to look at. As much as I love Reverb 10 (the daily prompts thing I'm participating in) over this past weekend I went to a conference called 'Destiny Discovery Quest' which was awesome, amazing, made me learn tons o' stuff about myself and actually helped me apply it to my life, and I was unable to keep up with the prompts. This entire conference you're really exploring yourself internally, and I just didn't have it in me to blog. So you'll notice that I'm about to post a ton just to catch up! PS. here's some random pictures:

Prompt numba 2 – Writing. What do you do each day that doesn’t contribute to your writing — and can you eliminate it?
Quite honestly...I wasn't even going to answer this one at first, cause it seems like a better question would be "What don't you do..." but I guess the most thought out, intentional answer to this would have to be: I let my doubts take over and convince me that I don't have anything worthwhile to say.

Prompt numero uno: One Word. Encapsulate the year 2010 in one word. Explain why you’re choosing that word. Now, imagine it’s one year from today, what would you like the word to be that captures 2011 for you?
My life in 2010, in one word:
Love.

So! I just signed up for this end of the year blogging website/cool thing, where they send you writing prompts with the goal of helping you reflect on this past year (yay 2010!).

According to their website:Reverb 10 is an annual event and online initiative to reflect on your year and manifest what’s next. Use the end of your year as an opportunity to reflect on what's happened, and to send out reverberations for the year ahead.

So now you'll understand why I (hopefully) will be blogging everyday for the rest of this month, and why you'll see a prompt at the beginning of every post!)
